Fat Buddha opened its bricks and mortar shop in Glasgow back in 2006. After growing out of the first smaller space we relocated to larger premises over 3 floors. We believed that Glasgow lacked a store that sold all the basic ingredients of street culture, such as clothing, footwear and design led books. Brands such as Urban Kubrick and Bearbrick toys as well as Spray Paint and Spray Paint Supplies were also in short supply, so Fat Buddha was born and has been kicking up a storm ever since. After many customer requests, we launched our website to cater for our customers from all over the world. Allergy Best Buys, as the name suggests, sells products for allergy sufferers. The allergies we cover are Asthma, Eczema, Sensitive Skin, Latex Allergy, Nickel Allergy, Hayfever and Rhinitis and Dustmite allergy. We also carry products for Seasonal Affective Disorder also known as winter blues. We are strong in areas such as bedding particularly in dust mite proof covers and anti-allergy pillows and duvets. These products help with asthma and eczema and sell all year round but particularly well in winter months. We have a range of prices in most product areas and find little price resistance in our customers. The Cottonfresh dustmite proof covers are own brand and probably the best you can buy.They are a best seller and are only available from us and a very few other retailers who we sell them to. We convert quite well all year round with slightly better conversion between September and April. Average basket is £82.57 so far this year and conversion rate is 2.71% .
