Holidays to Bodrum

Bodrum town is located on the southern coast of the peninsula, and is a bustling harbour town with a huge variety bars, restaurants and clubs. Your Bodrum holiday accommodation ranges from hotels of all types, and white-washed holiday apartments spreading out into the hills around the town. While Bodrum does not have a beach of its own, the region is peppered with tiny quiet coves, inlets and picture-perfect bays, ranging from the traditional charm of Gumusluk - a quaint fishing village - to the upbeat and lively Gumbet. Other larger beaches can be found at Bitez and Turgutreis, with its recently completed 5 star marina.

Holidays in Gumbet feature one of the longest and most popular beaches on the peninsula, coupled with a lively and bustling range of restaurants, bars and clubs. Gumbet is also one of the most popular water sports centres with water-skiing, windsurfing and parasailing available.

Hiking, mountain biking, water sports and boat trips to islands are all popular holiday activities when staying in the Bodrum region. Here you are also well placed to visit historic treasures such as Troy and Ephesus.

Altinkum holidays offer a glorious beach setting where you’ll find plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun, or for something more strenuous take a boat trip or try some watersports. This stretch of Turkey’s coast is truly admired for its deep blue and incredibly clear water, framed by the lush, pine-clad interior.

On the western side of Altinkum is the original fishing village which is worth exploring for interesting boats and old-style Turkish cafes. The centre of Altinkum is largely modern, consisting of hotels and apartments and thriving commercial and residential areas. An attractive promenade provides the ideal spot for an evening stroll. Altinkum boasts fantastic seafood restaurants alongside international and local cuisine.
