Inside you’ll discover a deceptively spacious layout where a large sofa and flat screen Smart TV means you’ll be able to chill out with a movie or your favourite box set. And if you love to cook, there’s sleek fully equipped kitchens with all you’ll need to rustle up your best-loved dishes and perfectly proportioned dining nook where you’ll be able to share them.

The dreamy double bed has been positioned to face the incredible view outside so when you’re not enjoying some deeply comfortable sleep, you’ll be able to fling open the French doors and enjoy breakfast in bed with one of the best views in Somerset! A separate bathroom with walk-in shower and rain head means you won’t be roughing it when it’s time to freshen up, and electric radiators throughout keep things cosy in the cooler months.

Step outside on to your very own deck and absorb the peaceful atmosphere or grab a magazine, switch on the Bluetooth speaker and relax in the sunshine with an ice cold drink while your other half fires up the barbecue. No luxury lodge break would be complete without a hot tub and Cathedral View’s are large and indulgent, so don your swimsuit at any time of the day or night and sink in for an indulgent soak or some quiet reflection. Guests with four-legged companions in tow with will be pleased to know Cathedral View  welcome one dog per lodge and for peace of mind, the fences surrounding each of the properties completely enclose the gardens.

Surrounded by countryside walks including a public bridleway right behind the pods, there’s more than enough fresh air entertainment on offer for both canines and humans alike, while Wells’ restaurants and boutiques are a mere amble from your door so for those in need of a shopping fix or a spot of fine dining, you’re only a few minutes away.

Adding to the uniqueness of these properties, guests will be able to book a hot air balloon ride which will take off from the field where the lodges are located. The owners offer a discounted rate so if you’re thinking of proposing to your partner or want to celebrate an occasion, it simply doesn’t get better! And for those festival fans who look forward to taking on Glastonbury, the site is able to offer a chauffeur service to and from the festival (which is less than 20 minutes drive away).
