A limited release, and slightly mellower version, of the iconic Islay single malt from Laphroaig. Originally released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the distillery, it was so well-received that they decided to release more! This 16-year-old has spent its life in ex-bourbon barrels, allowing for the whisky's smoky profile to soften over the years, rounded off by the vanilla notes from the American Oak. It was bottled at 48% abv without chill filtration or added colouring. On the nose, sweet leather, oaky spices, vanilla and wood character mingle, followed by maple syrup, roasted chestnuts and a crack of black pepper. Flavours from the American oak shine through in the palate: sweet treacle, caramel, manuka honey, alongside Laphroaig's signature smoky flavours of creosote and salted seaweed. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, we will arrange for a return via courier and issue a full refund.

To be eligible for a full refund you must contact us to inform us of any issue within 24 hours of receipt. Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

Please note that any personalised, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 14 days from the day you received delivery. Items that are bespoke or personalised cannot be cancelled, and will only be returnable if faulty.

In the event of cancellation, the cost of returning your items will be your responsibility and not that of The Whisky Shop. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be processed on receipt of the items.
