You’ll have far-reaching countryside views to savour while you drink and dine in seclusion, places to catch up on your holiday reads or for quiet reflection, and of course extremely comfortable beds to retire to when you’re ready to turn in for the night.

The kitchens are very well equipped as are the shower rooms, and there are indoor and outdoor dining spaces to accommodate all seasons.

We’re confident that, if you have no desire to venture beyond your property by car for the duration of your stay, you won’t need to. There are terrific walks in the area as well as the lovely 13th Century Ley Arms pub where you can wine and dine your afternoons away.

If however you’d like to take in the local attractions and scenery you’re in for a treat! Within a 15-minute driving radius you can access the coast at Dawlish Warren or Teignmouth or hike the rugged tors and landscape of Dartmoor national park. And if you run out of essentials, the village of Kennford offers a family-run post office and shop which is open 7 days a week.

For something slightly more cosmopolitan, you can pop into Exeter for a dose of retail therapy and culture, and for a more laid-back excursion you can visit the charming town of Topsham (just 20 minute drive away) to browse independent boutiques, take afternoon tea and relish walks along the River Exe.
