This 2019 release from the now-lost Littlemill distillery is part of the Private Cellar Edition series. Distilled in 1990, shortly before the distillery fell silent, this expression was laid down in seven refill bourbon casks, which were combined and finished in first fill Oloroso sherry and Limousin oak casks. Bottled just short of three decades old, this expression is limited to just 600 bottles worldwide. Nose: floral and spicy with honeysuckle, rose, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: sily smooth with fruity notes of crisp green apple, ripe pear, and kiwi, before sweet caramel and orange marmalade.
Finish: toasted oak, creamy vanilla and green fruits lingering.
