Reviews

Beautiful place to stay.
4.5/5

The mill cottages are absolutely beautiful in a lovely place ideal for us as we had my Mom with us who is terminally ill and elderly and we had my daughters dog with us. When we arrived you couldn’t of asked for anything more beautiful furnishings with everything you could need. We did have abit of a problem on the first day with the man next door over parking but think it was more because he couldn’t drive . If you all park correctly it’s fine. While we was there the gardener came so it looked even more beautiful . Our only issue and complaint was on the last night we had torrential rain and the ceiling in the master bedroom leaked right next to the bed and all I could here was drip drip drip at 4am once I had investigated i decided to try and sleep on the 2 setter sofa not very comfortable at all after 2 lovely night in the bed. Things happen I know that so in the morning I rang to let the people know so they could do something before the next person arrived as the weather forecast wasn’t good. I had oh thanks for letting us know we will look later bye. Just think a sorry your had this issue while you stayed with us and a bit better customer service. Luckily we were going home that’s day as it couldn’t have been left like it was as and don’t think they would of done a lot about it if we had stayed longer.

Hello Judy, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so glad to hear you found the cottage beautiful, and that the location was ideal. Sorry about the parking issues, but as you said there should be no problems! The gardens got some well-needed attention while we had a break in the poor weather, so we are happy to hear this improved the look. Thank you for letting the property manager know about the leak in the master bed, and our apologies that this happened to you. It has now been rectified and I did reach out to the property managers who sent apologies for their communication during the stressful time. We do hope to welcome you back in the future. Best Wishes, The Luxury Coastal Team.

Last minute booking
5/5

Thank you for a brilliant stay, my daughter and I booked on the day of check in. Very grateful that we were accommodated at short notice. We travelled with our two dogs. Good allocated parking available on site. Cottage was lovely, comfortable all the amenities available with a welcome box which was very welcome after a long 4+ hours drive. Lovely pub in walking distance. There is a local shop within walking distance but very sparsely stocked. Suggest that if you’re wanting to cook, go to the farm shops which are dotted around the drive to the cottage.
