What’s in store with Costa Cruises? The short answer is: plenty. One of the unique benefits is they offer boarding in multiple ports, this allows you to enjoy a stay in your preferred city as part of your Cruise Nation Smart Package, If you’re looking for some itinerary inspo, then we’ve got you covered…

The Mediterranean is where Costa Cruises was born and when it comes to ports of call they operate to more ports than most other cruise lines, if you haven't cruised before the Med has art, culture, tradition and good vibes in spades. From the ruins of Rome and the culture-steeped history of Barcelona to the ancient wonders of Athens, there’s a lot to love about this part of the world. And with sun mostly all year round, there’s always time to top up your tan, too.

If the Caribbean’s calling, then this tropical wonder is bound to take your breath away. A mix of crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches and some of the friendliest locals you’re likely to meet, there’s a warm welcome waiting for everyone here. And we haven’t even mentioned the cuisine…

For something truly exotic, perhaps Dubai and UAE will be what swings it. Both a record-breaker and a trend-setter, this exclusive paradise offers a glimpse into the future and a foot set squarely in tradition. A place where incredible skyscrapers sit alongside historic mosques, and drinks at sky-high altitudes keep company with spice-filled market stalls – Dubai is an experience like no other.

SAVOUR THE FLAVOUR

Casual or formal, day or night, foodie or fussy, Costa Cruises serve up incredible Mediterranean dining. And with something new to tantalise your tastebuds with each day, every meal really is one to savour the flavour.

Why’s that? Well for starters (pun very much intended), there’s the Archipelago restaurant. Inspired by the seas you’re cruising on, you’ll dine on three menus created by world-renowned chefs Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze and Ángel León. This is next-level, at-sea eating like you’ve never experienced.

And Costa Cruises’ other eateries let your stomach do plenty of travelling too. Prepare to be wowed by Teppanyaki’s Japanese chefs, who dazzle diners with a show of their own before it’s time to tuck in.

Their first sushi bistro, Sushino, is already on a real roll, while Pummid’Oro Pizzeria does Costa’s Italian heritage proud, thanks to unreal stone-baked takes on the iconic dish using the finest Italian ingredients and freshest mozzarella made onboard following a traditional recipe.

With steakhouses, burger bars, light bites and more onboard, all delivering incredible dishes that are good enough to ‘gram, there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.

Whatever you’re craving, Costa Cruises’ food is truly set to impress – and fill up even the hungriest of holidaymakers!

Where Dreams Are Made

Whether it’s a place to pamper, put your feet up or get your head down and dream of your next cruise, with Costa Cruises you’re always in the comfort zone. And whether you’re looking to splash out or save, you’ll find a room for just about any budget you can think of.

Inside Cabins are ideal for solo sailors looking to nab a bargain, while Ocean View Cabins, with their generous windows, let guests soak up those first rays of morning sunshine in serious style.

Or why not go for a Sea Balcony instead? Because who wouldn’t love lounging against a backdrop of beautiful views and spectacular sunsets?

If you’re really looking to push the boat out, then Costa Cruises’ Suites are the way to do it. A private butler to answer your every wish and whim. An exclusive restaurant booked each evening. And the best part, some cabins even have hot tubs on the balcony. That's something to make a splash about.

It's Showtime

As night falls, Costa Cruises floating resorts come alive with bright lights and glam soirees, with cocktail parties indoors and deck festivities out. From white parties to fabulous vocals there is something going on for everyone to enjoy.

If you prefer a more slower paced evening there is a huge choice of bars to choose from including the Ferrari processco bar on selected ships, the setting is a devine place to relax.

On Costa Smeralda & Costa Toscana the centre spot for entertainment is the Colossium, in our opinon this hive of activity offers some of the best entertainment at sea and should not be missed.

If the theatre is your thing, why not take in a Las Vegas-style show or learn some new dance moves, this is how the Italians like to the party and you won’t be able to stop yourself from getting your groove on by joining in the fun into the early hours.

Costa Cruises swimming pools take centre stage every daytime, whether it’s bombs away or you’re just dipping a toe in, sipping on your fave cocktail. Calling out to the young (and not-so-young), it’s the perfect way to cool off. And with their own Aqua Parks complete with high-speed hydro slides and games, little ones can make a real splash.

Speaking of kids, there’s plenty for tots, teens and in-betweens too. With kids’ clubs for all ages, there’s always fun to be had, from arts and crafts workshops and treasure hunts to table tennis and sports tournaments. Plus, with Costa’s nursery service, even the smallest of sailors are in safe hands while at sea.

Costa Cruises FAQs

Are Costa Cruises all-inclusive?

Costa Cruises offer two rates: My Cruise and All Inclusive. My Cruise is the line’s lowest rate, offering guests breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, entertainment, and access to swimming pools and relaxation spots, with the option to add on extras for an additional cost.

Their All-Inclusive rate, meanwhile, includes everything at the My Cruise level, but throws in unlimited drinks courtesy of the My Drinks package, and opens up access to suite booking if you really want to splash out.

Who owns Costa Cruises?

Costa Cruises is part of the Costa Crociere Group, the parent company of both Costa Cruises and AIDA Cruises.

How much is Wi-Fi on Costa Cruises?

The line offers internet packages in different sizes based on the amount of data you’ll be using and how you’ll be using it.

Their data package is geared more towards casual internet users who just need to check emails or post on social media here and there. Internet access is unlimited – until the pre-paid threshold data is reached, and you have several options from 250MB to 3GB. Prices can vary, but generally, you’re looking at:
- €35 for the 250MB plan

- €45 for the 500MB plan

- €110 for the 3GB plan

Next up, the social package is for guests who can’t keep away from their favourite social media sites. From just €5 a day, you can access all your go-to socials, making status updates, stories and selfie uploads an absolute breeze.

There’s also a pay-as-you-go option that starts from €0.25/minute, with an account creation free of €3.

What is the biggest Costa Cruise ship?

At 185,010 tonnes, Costa Smeralda is the largest ship that Costa Cruises have operated since it launched in 2019.

Are meals included on Costa Cruises?

Meals in the main dining room and buffet are included during your cruise. If you’d like to dine in any speciality restaurants, these will cost extra – you can book reservations at these restaurants ahead of your cruise, or once you’re onboard by visiting or calling the restaurant to make your reservation.

Can you cancel tips on a Costa Cruise?

You are not expected or required to tip any extra amount while you’re on onboard. However, service charges – or gratuity charges as they’re also known, are an important part of restaurant staff and room steward earnings.

And while you can ask for these to be removed, if it’s for no reason other than you simply don’t want to pay the service charge, then it’s generally considered poor practice among cruisegoers.

Do Costa Cruises have formal nights?

Yes, although Costa Cruises prefer to call them Elegant Evenings, which take place once on cruises under 4 nights, twice on 7-night cruises, three times on 8-13-night cruises and four times on 14-night cruises.

Dressing up isn’t compulsory during these nights – Costa is a fairly relaxed line as far as dress codes go – but if you’re in restaurants and bars from 6pm, then it’s recommended you dress to impress. Think dark suits and tuxes for men, and evening gowns or cocktail dresses for women.

How much are drinks packages on Costa Cruises?

Included as part of its All-Inclusive rate mentioned above, guests can enjoy Costa’s My Drinks package: a selection of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages you can take advantage of throughout the day. It even includes unlimited soft drinks and fruit juices in the price – perfect if you’re travelling with the whole family.

How do I book a Costa Cruise online?

Through Cruise Nation, of course! We’re one of the lucky tour operators who are authorised to sell Costa Cruises. That means we can guarantee you the best price, and let you in on some exclusive cruise deals that you simply can’t find anywhere else!
