Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. We are Dartmouth regulars and love the town but this is the first time in Mayflower Court. The apartment is gorgeous and had everything we needed including separate seating areas for kids and Mum and Dad! The views across the river and to Kingswear are stunning, we hope to be back again soon!

Lovely stylish, warm and very well equipped flat, everything is of a high standard and very clean! Lots of very thoughtful and helpful touches, from the nightlight to the flowers to the shoehorn. The views are great and in just a few steps you are in the centre where there are lots of shops and restaurants. We liked the Royal Castle pub and restaurant. We have been booking through Toad Hall Cottages for some years now and find them really efficient and helpful, the website is clear and informative, it's really easy to book.

A wonderful stay in a perfect flat, ideally located for all amenities. Stayed in Dartmouth many times but this is the best rental by far. Will certainly be back! Would recommend The Cott for a good Sunday Lunch, The Castle in Dartmouth and the Start Bay for fish and chips.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment with its wonderful views. Beautifully furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. Our weather was changeable but the apartment was warm and cosy. We have been visiting Dartmouth for over 40 years and it has never lost it charm.

We really enjoyed out stay in this lovely apartment. It is our first visit to Devon and we really enjoyed Dartmouth and its surroundings.

A lot of noise from above. Car park becoming very difficult due to size of modern cars but markings made for much smaller cars years ago.

We had an amazing time, weather was fabulous, and we loved number 6 Mayflower Court!

Our second stay this year and No.6 never fails to please. Beautifully clean, and well equipped. Little touches like the flowers really make a difference! Weather has been glorious and we feel lucky to have spent half term here.Looking forward to our next visit, fingers crossed this year!

Always lovely to stay at no6. Noise from other flats still a issue (I nodded off each night to the snores of someone in the flat above!). Will probably be back next year as I miss the view!!

A lovely little apartment which has everything you could need. Ideal location and great views. We would happily return. Recycling facilities are the only thing we'd improve as there are none. We've taken a big bag of recycling home with us but I suspect many wouldn't (no plastic or cardboard recycling at Mayor's car park). Otherwise, a great stay! Thanks!

What a beautiful apartment, so well set up and with everything we could have needed, including flowers and a delightful cake! Gorgeous view from the lounge and bedroom windows, enabling us to watch the boats and the weather. A wonderful stay all round - we will definitely be booking again.

Lovely return visit to this flat, this time bringing a friend into my favourite place. The flat as before is perfect and beautifully equipped with everything anyone could want. The weather was kind to us and we were able to visit favourite haunts such as Greenway, Coleton Fishacre, Little Dartmouth as well as a trip to Salcombe and Rockfish of course!

We had a wonderful time and everything about the apartment was perfect. We have stayed in No 6 before, though not for some time, and hope to be back soon. The apartment is ideally located with riverside views and close to the centre of Dartmouth.

Our first time in this apartment, although we have been frequent visitors to South Hams for over 30 years. Absolutely first class, beautifully clean and set up. thank you for the milk, cake and flowers - lovely touches. Weather has been very kind and we have enjoyed the warm sun in February! We had an excellent holiday, even the weather was good to us and when it wasn't, we had an excellent view of the river and what was going on there.

This was the second enjoyable stay within six months at this property. The welcome goodies on arrival are especially worthy of mention. The facilities for eating out within a reasonable distance of the property are mixed, especially outside the main holiday season. Bayards Cove Inn is particularly good for lunch although the menu is somewhat limited.

No 6 truly came up trumps for us when we booked a last minute holiday. The apartment is truly delightful, beautifully presented, clean and well equipped. The views and the activity on the river kept us entertained. We have done some splendid walks, the lower half of the Dart Valley Trail, crossing the Dart at the higher ferry slipway and walking to Greenway before crossing for Dittisham and starting the return. Truly a great location!

The refurbishment of No6 made the best apartment in Mayflower Court even better- I would not want to stay in any other. Thank you!!

Another good week in Dartmouth in this first class apartment. Weather has been excellent so able to walk. Worth mentioning - the bluebells on the site of the old fort were incredible. There is a good American film in the museum dealing with the build up to D.Day. Especially distressing was the film of local people having to leave their homes. A good find was DOLIUM - a small station wine bar a few doors up from the Kingswear railway station.

Apartment great, everything that you need is here. It is very clean and so relaxing! The views are fantastic and kept us both entertained all week, just wish we could take them home with us.

Fantastic stay! Very clean and well equipped apartment. We really enjoyed "the round robin" trip boat, bus and steam train and would definitely recommend it. We had fish and chips from both Rockfish and Wheelhouse - for us Wheelhouse was slightly better. As all other guests have said, no downside - perfect!

Having stayed in No.6 on many occasions we thoroughly enjoyed this last stay in March. The property is very well furnished and equipped with a fantastic view of the river and we will continue to recommend it to our friends and look forward to returning again. We recommend Rockfish.

Lots of noise from the flat above - not much can be done about that. We realised that the view from the first floor is probably better than those above due to the more level view across the river and the raised floor in the seating area. The flat is near perfect – immaculate’.

Superb flat, so cosy and comfortable with, of course, the fabulous view. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to stay again (although it looks well booked up!). I've been visiting Dartmouth for many, many years (but usually booking property on the spur of the moment, so have to take whatever is available) and I can honestly say that this flat was the best place I've stayed in. It is the view, good quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings and decor, and its proximity to everything that you need that makes it. I could live there. In fact - I want to live there!

greatly enjoyed our 3rd stay in no.6 for a much needed rest. Only slight reservation is fact that larger vehicles are making the car park very difficult.

Excellent property which has been further enhanced with the redecoration.

The apartment was perfect. The view is wonderful and ideal for boat/people/dog watching! A morning coffee at the window in the bedroom was great. Everything needed was in the apartment and the recent redecoration is lovely. Shower was great and beds comfortable. Perfectly clean. It is very close to the shops and cafes etc and you will see new things on your walk every day. Kids can have a go at crabbing right outside the apartment. Boat trips are on offer along the front. The unusual lower ferry system is a must see! We enjoyed a boat ride to Dittisham on the little ferry. We had a trip on the steam train, and rented kayaks on the beach at Blackpool Sands. We walked round to Dartmouth Castle for great views of the houses on the water. There are lots of nice little shops in the town. We had booked a few pubs for meals before we arrived and that all went well. ‘Alf Rescos’ for breakfast was great, we arrived 8.30/8.40 for a table! Try the shakes and waffles from Morellos hut in the nearby park. There was plenty to do for a week without driving anywhere. Parking spaces are a little small but our Audi A4 small estate did fit and we left it parked most of the week anyway. We love Dartmouth and are missing the view from this apartment already. Highly recommended.

The place seemed really clean which is reassuring in these Covid times. Well appointed apartment with good thinking regarding needs of the holiday makers e.g. dishwasher tablets, salad shaker, bottle stoppers. All little things but nice to have them provided.

A really lovely flat in a prime position . Some people rather noisy when they vacated the flat at 530 on Saturday but that was not your fault just inconsiderate people . Great holiday thank you.

Very much so. Dartmouth is a very friendly place with lots to do in and around the town. We sampled The Royal Castle Hotel (Grill Room), The Angel and Rockfish. Very high quality in each. Plenty to do on the river and Greenaways and Coleton Fishacre well worth a visit. The quality and location of the apartment was the icing on the cake.

The apartment lived up to all expectations - and beyond- my sister -in-law and her husband having recommended it. The views from the sitting room and main bedroom across Dartmouth harbour , the accommodation and general high standard left nothing to be desired. We would like to commend Rose, our caretaker for her sterling efforts to get us back into the property when we had locked ourselves out! Perhaps deadlocks would be better on the front doors when one lets the door shut with the keys indoors!

We loved this property. It's in a great location, just a few hundred yards from all the amenities in Dartmouth and with an M&S food hall on the doorstep. The apartment itself is a real home from home and is extremely well equipped. The view from the lounge & front bedroom windows across the river towards Kingswear is superb. We will certainly be booking to stay here again next time we go to Dartmouth.

Used up all my superlatives last year! This flat is ideal for our purposes in terms of accommodation, equipment, view and proximity to M&S food supplies and town centre [I have rather limited mobility at present]. Parking also a great bonus.

This is the third time we have stayed at 6 Mayflower Court and we had as good a holiday as on our previous visits. The flat is very well equipped, and well maintained, and the location is brilliant! I have always found Toad Hall Cottage staff helpful and booking etc. straightforward.

A superb holiday base with no negatives. I particularly liked the raised platforms allowing an optimum view while sitting in the lounge and bedroom. I'm afraid I forgot to record our thanks for the 'welcome' goodies in the visitors' book. A nice touch and perhaps you would kindly pass on our appreciation. We were particularly impressed that there was even a collander supplied to watch the eclipse with! A pity about the cloud - could you please arrange a sunny day for the next one in September 2090? Overall, an absolutely outstanding property in a delightful area. With its 'one flight' access, on site parking and proximity to the town, it's ideal for our circumstances and we will certainly hope to return when possible.

Dartmouth is a lovely place. The property had good parking , which meant that we never had to take the car out at all. The public transport, buses, steam train or boat was brilliant. When we go to Dartmouth again we will definitely be staying at a toad hall property.

I thought previous self-catering properties I had used were excellent. However, 6 Mayflower COurt ticks all the boxes. A very special comfortable apartment overlooking the wonderful harbour and level walking distance to shops and buses. And M&S Simply Foods!! There is also such a wonderful choice of excellent restaurants within walking distance. In other words - will return!

Only one suggestion for improvement a couple of additional towels would be useful. 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels for a week seems a little 'poor' compared with the rest of the equipment provided, regards, Mike
